Aydin Marine, manufacturer of marine displays, computers and peripherals, has released its KCGBL-19, a 19-inch display for bridge installations on commercial and recreational pilothouse vessels.

The new rugged and affordable KCGBL glass bridge display is a crystal-clear, dimmable, LED-backlit monitor, manufactured to Aydin Marine’s high-quality standards. Designed for trawlers, tugs, and cruising and fishing vessels of all sizes, the KCGBL is manufactured specifically for pilothouse applications. The KCGBL-19 has multiple video inputs and uses advanced LCD contrast and brightness to deliver amazing imagery with fast refresh rates and optimized viewing angles. The display’s slim profile and lightweight case is constructed of milled billet aluminum and provides IP68 dust and water ingress protection on the front face with IP65-rated protection when console mounted. The KCGBL-19 is packed with features at an incredibly attractive price.

“The installations for a navigation display are as varied as the vessels they’re installed on,” said Mark Bidinger, business unit director, Rugged Electronics, Aydin Marine. “We are confident that the new KCGBL-19 display fits a wide variety of these needs. It combines a durable product capable of handling the toughest commercial applications with a compact and affordable package that is equally at home in any recreational navigation station.”

The KCGBL-19 has an operating temperature range of 15 to 130 degrees Fahrenheit (-10 to 55 Celsius) and is designed to withstand the harshest marine conditions. It is the ideal navigation and vessel monitoring display, and its compact footprint allows for maximum screen size in the smallest spaces available. The 19-inch display emits 600 nits, has a 4:3 aspect ratio, 1280x1024 pixel resolution, and includes one HDMI, one DVI, one VGA and one composite input. The full line of KCGBL displays is protected by a one-year warranty on parts and service.
