The idea has been an evolution from ECDIS Ltd (part of the eMartime Group) and its ECDIS Check Off Cards for Port State Control, Inspectors & Pilots which give an overview of the key screenshots and features of every leading ECDIS manufacturer.
It has become apparent that companies require far greater depth of information for their own onboard ECDIS models, the ECDIS Type Specific Reference Cards cover almost every single aspect of successfully running an ECDIS. With up to 120 "cards", the information included allows for far greater depth of knowledge.
The unique feature of the Reference Cards is the ability to fully customize the check lists for each menu item online via the eMaritime Shop website. This allows greater integration into company procedures and increases the practical usability for each crew member.
