‘One Man Bridge’ on Display at Nor-Fishing

|

The one man bridge, which aims to redefine the industry’s present standards, will be showcased by JRC, Alphatron Marine and ProNav at Nor-Fishing 2016, August 16-19 in Trondheim, Norway.

Unlike the traditional 19- to 26-inch displays, the fully integrated one man bridge features a total of three 46-inch displays on which all maneuvering and control systems are centrally shown. The large 46-inch displays ensure that navigation officers get a clear view even when standing several meters away, making one man bridge operation much safer.

This solution has already been delivered to a number of vessels in Norway, both to fishing and advanced offshore vessels.

Having participated in Nor-Fishing for 25 years, without skipping a single exhibition year, ProNav has been a longtime distributor in Norway and provides total navigation and communication packages to fishery vessels as well as workboats, offshore vessels and coastal freighters.
